-In the morning: you will visit the temples on the recommended one-day itinerary include most famous is Angkor Wat temple, which is the largest religious monument and one of seven wonders of the world! Angkor Wat was built during the reign of King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century. The temple is constructed following the model of the temple mountain symbolizing Mount Meru, the home of the gods.

After Angkor Wat we will continue to Angkor Thom the ancient capital in the 12th century. This massive complex includes the South Gate of Angkor Thom with its huge statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk; Bayon Temple unique for its 54 towers decorated with 216 smiling faces of Bodhisattva Avolokitesvara the God of compassion; Baphuon (recently re-opened after years of restoration); Phimeanakas in the Royal Enclosure; the Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. Also Chau Say Tevoda and Thommanon temple.

Lunch time for your choice of local restaurants.

-In the afternoon: we’ll visit Ta Prohm, famous for being featured in the Tomb Raider Movie and one of the most beautiful temples in the area. Ta Prohm has been left relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery with massive trees taking root in and around the walls of the temple complex.

After that you will visit Banteay Srei temple (10th century), regarded as the jewel in the crown of classical Khmer Art. Stop at a local village to visit families producing palm sugar in traditional ways.

Afterward we’ll enjoy a spectacular sunset at Chong Khneas is the name of famous floating village at the edge of the lake. It locates at Southern part of Siem Reap town about 15 Km, and takes only 30 minutes by vehicles to the boat dock where there are always boats waiting for visitors. This is a bit touristy but visitors are not going to see the floating villages by the same boats. They will hire private boat which only take them to see the floating houses. Life of those people relies on fishing. Trip to this place will see fish farm of the most fresh water fish that the fishermen raise, crocodiles farm, snakes carried by children, many kinds of fishing traps made of bamboos, Vietnamese village, Khmere or Cambodian village. These two villages are separate. Other than that, you also see the hammocks made of water hyacinth.

The day could also include sunrise, which costs extra ( $20 for Tour guide and Transportation).
